Exclamation Good day for Atomic Carbon @ Swe Nationals

Swedish 1:10th Nationals was held @ GreenHill astroturf track.

2wd Matias F (Foppa) placed the Atomic Carbon S2 @ first in C-finals (i think it was D and E finals to..) this was hes real big race, and i am SO impressed!!!

4wd Roy (dahomie) first race with a Atomized B44) im not 100 but a B-final it was, i think he won it..a lot in my mind that day . Matias F (foppa) did B-finals to hope they can correct me if im wrong...

My self, i am real pleased, ok, a win wouldnt be wrong, but top drivers wasnt a easy nut to crack... last Nationals, my first race ever with a S4 i did to A-final and finished 9th this time i Q to 5th in A-main..and finished 5th..of 20+ drivers..the car was good, dialed, with goosebumps on the wet astro i had tons of steering, Studs @ rear...

Dark green springs front 40w oil and Black pistons outer on arms and middle on front tower

Yellow springs rear 30w oil and orange pistons outer on arms and inner on tower..

all bones level..B44 slipper set to middle hard.

Novak 4.5r + 17/81 - 5 cells TeamBrood matched...the car screamed..

Yes both Roy and me was in the 4wd B-finals im almost sure he won it, myself ended up fourth.

Realy impressed with the car its so easy to drive before the weekend a had a total of 4 packs driving it and thats all the 4wd driving i had before the race :-) so im realy satisfied with the 4wd result, In the S2 i know i could have been faster the car worked great but the driver didnt :-( But finishing 21 total of 42 drivers is ok it was the first big race for me

Regarding my efforts in 4wd at the Nationals you are all correct, I did win the B-final.
My goal for the competition was to get an A-final spot and until the last heat of the last round by round qualifier I was still 10th but in the end I qualified 12th.
Considering the circumstances I am very satisfied with the end result anyway, I had 2 packs of training with the car on Friday, then we raced 2wd on Saturday and after the 2wd I had to wrench the Atomized B44 into shape practically all night before the qualifying started on Sunday. About an hour track side in the car was all the rest I got before the 4wd event on Sunday...

The car performed really excellent. To cope with the hand out tyres (Red IFMAR studs) and the wet and really really bumpy astro track we went from pink to yellow springs in the rear and also added 2 washers to the inner camber link for a total of 4. That locked the rear in much better. Oil was 30wt in the rear with blue pistons and in the front I ran 42,5wt with orange pistons and blue springs.

Ride height was just a tiny bit below level in the rear with a flat chassis.

Being new to the car I have learned now that my ackermann setting was way off and that my steering assembly seem to bind a bit and almost lock up at the ends. Getting that fixed together with more race time sith the brilliant handling car will hopefully improve my results going forward.

Would like to thank BBQ and his pit bitch ;-) Nille together with Thomas for helping me out during the 4wd event. Thanks guys!!
