I raced with the Futaba today at Southport, and I got to say I am impressed. It feels totally different to the KO, to the point that the car felt very different and round 1 was a bad run until I got the hang of it.

Round 2 onwards I got quicker, and ended up qualifying 3rd and finishing 2nd, so im good with it. To be honest, I didn't expect to not be, I didn't expect it to feel so different either.

The way to describe it, is can feel where the stick is, and im now driving without bashing the stick at the limit. The Futaba seems to work well when using say 75% of the sticks movement, its almost like a positive curve, but it isn't, it might be the better resolution of the Futaba or the higher responce.... I can't tell, its just nice.

Another view on this Chris, my newly aquired Universe () feels like it has negative throttle and steering curve compared to my old Vantage 2 even when they are turned off. I can't imagine how dead the steering must have felt with the -50% curve you had on it

I'm going to have a go at making the springs a bit stronger, screw the warrenty haha!

Well, I spent a few days practicing on my own and played around with stuff like this. I didn't initially go to -50% straight away, but the more I added the more it felt good, I did mention it to Ellis and he said he ran loads too, but only kept it on 2wd, on the 4wd I did try it but it should be at 0% now.... rich? rich? rich?
