did you read the guide? some good basics in there. just share set ups with your team mate to maximise the car set up. don;t run the risk levels too high until you find the safe levels to push at as you will crash otherwise!

Yeah, I did read the guide. Got a general idea of how things work, risk levels being my main concern. So approaching the slowly, but steady from the bottom...OK....just one more quick question: Do the driver characteristics come into play when altering the risk levels?

yes they do. if you go for something like consistant then you can push the speed level up in a race with out crashing so easy.
pole sitter king is the only one that really affects qualifying.
thinker affects testing in that you can test at 100% without fear of crashing in practice
