You could always get the new Losi brushless motors, they have a 12.5mm sintered rotor and are under £60

I ran one in my X6 this thursday at our club and TQ'd with it (even against the 4wd's), the thing was awesome

Complete ESC/Motor combo is in stock at under £115!!! Available in 3.5, 4.5, 6.5, 10.5 ans 13.5.

Brian, I dont think you will be dis-appointed, try adding a little more bottom end punch in on the PC programme, which is all I did. I assume you are running the 6.5 which is what I ran in the 2wd, I even contemplated limiting it to 80% at one point, the motor was THAT quick.

If any of you see Bloomers, ask him about it and in particular ask him about the 4.5 version in my JRX-S Type R!! He drove it in practise and grinned from ear to ear throughout, even he struggled to keep that in a straight line!!!
