Default RTR vs Factory

Guys i have a RTR B4 and my mate has just bought a factory B4 but his seems a lot lighter than mine and we nearly have the same electrics in is the chassis and the shockshafts ect different?

Yeah the factory has a graphite chassis I expect. This makes the car a lot lighter, as well as all the other graphite components. He may be running a lipo pack, or different cells to you as well.

The graphite parts on the ft b4 are bad news so dont be too worried about it, there isn't much lighter about it just some of the parts are a little stronger and perform better

the factory team also has titanium turnbuckles which shed a little weight

Has he got the collars wound down on the shock bodies If you dont have any spacers in then his car will sit higher

Yeah but obviously i cant adjust my shocks as he can which is crap. Im gonna have to get myself some Factory shocks.

use the preload spacers on your shocks, does exactly same job as the factory ones do,

I did this too, the car performs absolutely no better at all, but they do look nice. If you absolutely must buy a set, get them from the States and save yourself some serious cash, you can buy front and rear complete sets over there for $40 each. The UK price is £40 each so it doesn't really make sense to buy them here .
