Is because you use the same fingers and thumbs to type with as you do to drive?

Ashley

It's probably time for a new car, as in the past few weeks, you have managed to snap the chassis down the side, break endless shock towers and now rip the entire side off the car.

I would hate to have your weekly repair bill.

Come on man, I think enough people have been slating Ash for his spelling recently. Yes he's not the best at spelling, but that is no reason to keep bringing him down.

I snapped it across from the hole below the motor across to the other side i just glued it the belt tunnel holds most of it.

Brian- im not sure about complete new car but defently new wishbones all round proberly cr rear wishbones and cr rear hubs and new bulkheads and new shock towers. The car isnt that old. its not even 12 months old yet.

Bloody hell ash, i dont think i broke as much in a year of running the bj4 as you did last night.

Is the xx4 that weak or is the car just too fast dor you?

I have some 27x1 motors if you want them, seriously im not taking the piss, i think you should slow down and learn to drive without crashing?

I think he was talking about a different type of car Ash, not a new elastic band special

To be fair i havent really broken that much ive gone though about 5 wishbones but some of them where replacing them as the thread had gone. Ive never broken a front shock tower only broken one rear broken two rear pivot blocks most of the rest of the parts have just been replaced becuase there either worn or threads have gone in them. the annoying thing is the front wishbone was new earlier on in the week as i replaced the one on the other side so i put a new oen on that side to to make it look shiny But im hopngi to get it all fixed for indoor finals with some new parts hoping to get new rear tower wishbones bulkheads etc.

Oh YOU DO!!! Learn to drive first, without crashing, then go faster slowly.

Ash, if your crashing this much the car is obviously too fast.

To finish first, first you have to finish, its cheesy but true. There is no point in being quick in between crashes

I only break stuff when im indoors at oswestry because its so tight and my speedo is set to power setting one and my tranny epa is turned down to. its not fast and i can control it if i couldnt control it it would be in bits every round. everyoen breaks there car i went for months without breaking anything. And the section where i broke it is where everyone breaks it its loads of bare metal posts which are cmm from the track and the racing line.

But if it was slower it would be easier to keep on the track, you cant deny that?

Slow is fast, i think Cragg uses mild motors in his cars and he is one of the worlds best.

Ive made high D finals at nats with a 12x4 euro spec motor, a fast motor means nothing but on the straights normally, but the slower feel of the motor will stop stupid crashes, in theory.
