Speed Passion GT2 Prostock motor limit?

Hi, I'm digging out an old GT2 Prostock ESC to run in a Cougar KF and wondered if it would be happy running a Thunder Power 8.5 motor.

Somewhere I have the manual but trying to find info online is proving tricky.
