Can't unsolder wires on R10.1

Hi, I have an Orion R10.1 and i wanted to take the power and motor wires off to put new ones on, i cant get the factory soldered joints to melt.
Has anyone any tips?
I have never had this problem with other speedos!
My soldering station goes to 400*C
