Default Newbie to forum wanting to race dog

Hi all, this maybe a bit oddball, but I used to frequent the newcastle longbenton club in the late 90s, but haven't since used my cars.
I have a lurcher who is pretty unstimulated by fetching a ball (as in I get more excersice than him from the game) and since he is essentially a hunting dog and I don't want to explain why my dog has killed something I though I might be able to use my old carbon bosscat to either wear a furry coat, or tow a bait for the dog to destroy.
I have become very aware that tech had come on a long way in the 20 years I've been out of the game and need to do some homework on brushers motors, esc, and lipos, but would be interested in reading any suggestions from folk on this.
I dont want to corner too quickly ad the dog goes lame quite easily when turning too quickly, but he is very fast, so acceleration and top speed are important.
Unfortunately money is not in too plentiful a supply, especially as this may not work, maybe put more in if it does work.

Hit me up with some ideas, if you'd be so kind!
