Alternatives to the smelly stuff.

Has anyone used Faskolor Faskoat? Is it water based just like the airbrush paint? Without a smell? Does it protect well?

Getting a bit sick of paying out for Valpar/Plati-kote Enamel to seal the shells for protection. It stinks (even though I wear a mask) and for 100ml can for the price doesn't go very far especially for touring car shells (Bugger doing anything larger). Although it does a very good job at protecting them for club race bashers .

It's half the reason I only spray a handful of shells a year because it makes me cringe.
