Front spool or diff for touring cars?

I'm starting up in touring cars. Do you have to run diffs at both ends or can I run a spool in the front. The brca rules seem a bit vague to be honest and reading about the new 2016 X-ray in racer mag, it comes with a spool as standard. Which would suggest to me that they are allowed. Can anyone clarify this for me??
