RC10 Classic Drive Gear/Cups Bearings

I have just got hold of an original A stamped RC10 Gold tub. It came with the original bronze bushes. I bought an Avid bearing set for it and I'm having problems with drive output bearings in the drive cups.

Is there a trick to inserting these? They're really tight fit and I don't want to wreck the new bearings putting them in.

Thought about heating them up in a cup of boiling water then trying to insert the bearings.

Any help greatly appreciated....
