B44 REAR ARMS SWITCH

HAS ANY BODY TRIED TO FIT THE REAR ARMS ON A B44 THE OPOSITE WAY,THEN FIT THE SHOCKS ON THE REAR ON THE MOUNT AND ARMS.I WILL FIT BUT MAKES THE CAR 8MM SHORTER?
