Default Leaky gear diff B5M

Hi all

Would have put this in Associated thread but hope there might be feedback from other brand users.

As title; gear diff, leaking. Not completely emptied itself by any means, but enough to give transmission a good coating and a very slight seepage (oil stain rather than oil as a liquid) through transmission casing joints.

Similar situation for a few B5M's at our club; all decent car builders too. Some were fine first time built, and have deteriorated with several oil changes (to be expected with paper gasket) others have leaked since first build.

Varying oil thickness, mostly very light though, 1-3000. All filled to cross pins as per instructions, cranked down opposite screws in sequence etc.

I'm considering using blue hylomar as an alternative to paper gasket, but would be interested to hear thoughts of others on here about alternative solutions?

Thanks in advance
