Buggy's on carpet

Hi all..... need some advise...

We have a good level of interest in running buggies at our club but i am concerned that there may be the right tyres or wrong tyres to use..

there are stories of buggies causing damage to carpet...

So whats the truth... I am guessing there are clubs running Buggies on carpet.. what do you allow to be used..
