Schumacher Mini Spike

Hi guys,

Just a quick question. I ran yellow mini spikes on my car last weekend for the first time (2WD). The first few runs were brilliant and consistent in terms of the grip they gave but then on the 5th run they were horrendous. One moment I had grip and the next I was spinning out for no apparent reason except perhaps that the tyre had lost it's "sweet spot"?
Is this normal? Obviously the spike, to look at, isn't badly worn at all as you would expect from a tyre that had only done a few runs. How many meetings would you normally get from this tyre?
