Default CTR and Bellcrank spacing

Hi there.

Can anyone out there help me with what is probably an easy question to answer.

I was looking at the setup sheets for the KF and some drivers use spacers under the CTR and bellcranks. Do these go under the steering assy instead of the washer to raise it the desired amount??? if so does the the carbon link brace have to be raised the same amount. what is the effect of doing this????

Do you have to add the same amount of spacers on the steering arm as you do for the CTR and bellcranks?? this is to get rid of bump steer??

Once you have done this change is it much of an improvement or is it down to the driving style and track your racing on??

any help or pictures to show this would be much appreciated..
