I'm pretty new to racing but I'm looking to start fettling my Setups a little.
My brother built my car for me and so everything has been set fairly standard straight out the box, I've now got to grips with it (qualified 2nd in the B final this weekend!!) but know I need to adjust things to improve the car to the conditions. I've done a few meets indoors on slippy floor with a bit of carpet. Cars gone well but I'm not sure what small adjustments to make to improve grip etc. So, in essence a few basics would be good from some of your experiences. I.e,. Slippy floors require lighter shock oil, less ride height, more or less camber, tyres for certain conditions etc etc. I really am clueless!!! I really do want to start with the basics though before getting to technical. I have a couple more indoor meetings to do before the summer!! (Woohoo!) Any help would be very welcome. Thanks, Jamie |
