dan your boost idea does work well with stock motors as they dont have the punch of a 7.5 but we have found that once you move to a 8.5 and above that northy and rogers ideas are what most people run with to keep the motor as smooth as possible and stop the possibility of coming on boost when feathering through a turn or sweeper in off road (onroad has a whole new set of rules
for this reason we only run turbo on full throttle activation normally without delay and have it kick in as early as possible so it ramps through the whole range, this helps keep all that extra power as managable as possible
