power cap for speed passion gt.2

i am thnking of getting a power cap to plug into my receiver to help run my esc more efficiently. I am not sure which one to get

1 - Novak Racing timing ESC super power-cap module (£16.99_

so which one is better? is having any power cap going to do the same job?
