Default RB6 front hinge pin height and Caster

Hi lads, apologies if this has been asked elsewhere I couldn't seem to find it,

I've just finished building my RB6 now I'm trying to get it set up for its maiden voyage this Sunday but have a few questions relating to Caster if anyone could help?

First of all, what difference would there be in running 30 degree kick up with 0 degree hub inserts to running 25 degree kick up with the 4 degree hub inserts? (Minus the obvious 1deg difference but they are practically the same overall caster angle) is it just that the 30 deg/0 insert combination will offer more rear weight transfer or are there any other benefits/negatives to this?

Secondly, I'm a little puzzled as to what the shims for the front hinge pin heights are for? Is this a roll centre adjustment, is there a specific shim to be used when using a specific caster setup or is this a tuning aid? Haven't seem this sort of adjustment on any of my other car's so it's totally alien to me.

Thirdly, I'm aware that the RB6 has more of a forward weight bias so id imagine that I will be trying to dial out steering initially to make the car feel a little safer on corner entry. I see that with the included inserts it is possible to achieve an overall caster angle of 34 degrees, do people run this much caster to settle the car and if so how does it make the car feel?

Finally, this is a basic question but I keep hearing conflicting views so thought I would ask people who have run the car. If I want more initial steering and less mid to exit shall I raise or lower the inner ball stud? Similarly if I want less initial steering do I keep the front camber link in the shortest position as in the manual or should I run the link longer to calm the steering down?

Sorry for all the questions I just want to get as up to speed as possible before weekend, also if there is anything else in the tuning department it would be worth knowing please so share.

All help would be appriciated.

Chris
