Default Building a ZXR Mk2 for a friend

A short while back a good mate of mine expressed interest in a vintage racer. As it happened we found a job lot on eBay and we made a quick purchase. As it happens we ended up with this guys life collection of ...well um...stuff. Nothing had been very well cared for and all was used and never cleaned. Amongst that lot we found a nice ZXR mkII which had been converted to run on road with a sedan body and foam slicks. Fortunately for me my buddy wanted this car and of course I opted to help him out.
After stripping, cleaning and closely inspecting all parts for wear I reassembled this car swapping out and adding parts as I went. What we ended up with was a very nice car destined for the race track.
Now, it has been half a life time since my pal has been behind the wheel of an r/c car but I wanted to set him up with something that was both controllable but also a little impressive (no silver can here). I dropped a 13T Ezrun system in and a pair of Lipo saddles. Still yet to get this thing to the track here is where I got up to.
