Default Whoops! Plonker

Hi All, Just done the school boy error of plugging the battery in wrong (positive/negative). Cue smoking wire and capacitor. Absolutely gutted as was enjoying the race night.

I have plugged back in and have power to the esc as lights are on and steering works but have no throttle. The question is will a new capacitor fix the issue or have I blown the ESC?
