Team Associated T4.1 Problem

Hello there!

I bought a used Team Associated T4.1 of a guy and it said to be all good.
But I have a problem, when i start the truck only the steering works, i cant get the throttle to work at all. My esc give a green light and when i gas you can hear a very very low loud, but it doesnt beep or anything from the esc when i turn on the truck.
I've been talking with the guy i bought it off and he really been trying to help me threw the phone. He told me the car did work just before he package it.
Without even driving it , the esc gets kinda hot and it starts to smell a bit electricity.
What might be wrong guys!?
Please help me, i so want my t4 to get running.
