WET = NOTHING STAYS STUCK

what double sided tape is every one else using, because both my esc came unstuck after the wet weather on sunday. i am using the schumacher tape that comes in the kit. both cars had a tiny bit of water inside them nothing much, i noticed when starting the finals that both esc had become unstuck.???????
