Default Lipo safe to charge???

Hi lads,

Could somebody advise me on whether my Lipo's will be safe to charge after a short.
Yesterday I was charging my Orion 5500 90c saddle pack on my Core rc charger. When the charge was completed and I was taking them off charge I accidentally touched the positive and negative connectors together whilst they were still connected to the Lipo's which caused an aggressive spark.
Upon inspection the connectors had melted into the casing of the Lipo's which meant a lot of tugging to get out and the case is loose around the seal between the two halves of the lipo saddle.

As the battery was charged I tried it in my car at the track yesterday and felt just as powerful as ever its just now it needs charging again and I'm a little dubious as to whether its safe with the casing now damaged?

Could anybody please shed some light as I don't want to damage my charger, the lipo further or more so me!!

Thanks

Chris
