Charging transmitter via Orion Touch

As per thread title, is this possible?

I've had an Esprit III for a while and none of my past chargers have worked for charging in including my Pulsar 3, it use to just give an error message.

There is only 2 chargers i can get to charge my transmitter. One is an old ripmax thing limited to 3a, the other is my trickle charger than plugs into the wall but it takes forever.

Is there any way to set my Orion Touch to charge this? I've probably got this wrong but it's powered by 8 x AA 2100mah. I tried setting the charger to NiMH, 8 cells, 2100mah capacity and it charged for about 30 seconds then said it was complete, which it obviously isn't.

Any advice? How does everyone else charge their transmitters?
