What to cut a phat bodies shell with

Hi guys

Being a newbie just needed some help Jst received my phat bodies shell for my losi 8ight mini

1st thing how do you guys cut the shell do you just scissors or something diff? Dya use sandpaper to smooth the edges too? Any advice is helpful

Secondly where's a good place to send for a custom paint job
