Hi again everyone, me again!!!
I'm new to electric 1/10th scale RC Cars/Buggies. My XXX4 G+ is suffering from what I think is interference! After I connect the batteries and switch on the ESC, the motor will just engage intermittently, it doesn't rev high, but it just lurches forward slightly. Then, when I'm running the car when it gets to approximately 35ft away it turns sharply left (always left) and goes flat out!!! I'm using an Acoms AR-201 27MHz receiver with an Acoms Techniplus Radio. I realise, their nothing special. I've re-routed the battery wires so that they don't cross over the receiver. The receiver is positioned next to the motor thou, just behind the servo (but where else is it supposed to go in a XXX4 G+?). Also, after it has been running for just a few minutes (and not even after long straight runs at full throttle - I dare'nt. The buggy just veers off to the left as described above) the motor has a really strong electrical smell and is too hot to touch. Now I realise that a smell and some heat my be quiet normal, but the heat and the smell are quite severe (at least that's what I think, but I don't have any experience to compare it with). The motor is nothing special, but it is new, its a Peak Raven SV2 10 x 2 with a Novak GT7 ESC. Any ideas??? Thanks AdznKi |
