Default Speedpassion 7.5T Motor timing + ESC Programming?

Hi All

Hoping someone can advise on brushless motor timing and programming of ESC? What does it all mean?

I have just acquired a Schumacher Cougar SV Pro which is fitted with a Speedpassion 7.5T brushless sensored motor and Speedpassion ESC. Will have a look tomorrow and provide specific model numbers if required.

Unsure as to what to do with the timing and more importantly at the moment, what setting to use when programming the timing on the ESC?

Looking on the end of the motor, I can see markings 0 deg and +10 deg, just under the +10 deg I can see a figure '0'.

Options on the program card range from 0 deg upwards with the higher settings also showing e.g. >=10.5T.

If the figure '0' is showing on end of motor, should I set ESC to 0 deg via program card?

Very new to the electric scene as have been doing 1/8 nitro for a couple of years.

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Steve.
