Hi

Thought I'd say hello as I've just joined the forum.

After more than 15 years away from RC racing, I recently dug out my old Schumacher CAT 2000 EC and decided to clean it up. A week later and I've had post arriving every day from Apex Models - mainly purple screws and nuts!! I came across (not literally) Fibre-Lyte and couldn't help ordering some carbon bits for it too!

I used to race a bit (Preston and Chorley) during the mid 90's - makes me feel old saying that!! I've owned a Schumacher Cougar 2, a Cougar 2000 and I still have my old Schumacher Cat 2000 EC.

After doing a lot of googling and reading this last week, it's awesome how the technology has evolved with lipo's and brushless motors! OMG I can see this costing a fortune, the Mrs is not going to be happy!

ps - sorry if this post is in the wrong place

Cheers,
Andy
