X6 Servo Posts

Just in the process of finishing my son's X6 for him to hopefully race this Friday but when i've attached the servo to the posts the posts don't want to sit in as the servo is fouling on the front part of the chassis

is this a design fault and is it dremel time

or am I doing something wrong?
