Default Etronix Photon 2 ESC, what motor for progressive throttle response...

Hi guys,

I have an Etronix Photon 2.0 60a ESC and 12.0T Motor combo on my buggy. Speed wise it isn't phenomenal but it isn't too bad either.

I run it with 16 degrees of timing in order to not be left behind at the track

The one thing that annoys me about this setup is the lack of throttle progression, as you press the throttle it is weak, weak, weak, and all of a sudden HYPERDRIVE! Which for racing is sub-optimal. I have an old ESC and brushed motor and that's much slower, but the throttle is nice and progressive which I enjoy.

I'm very new at all the more modern RC stuff like brushless, so bare with me Initially I thought it was merely because it was a sensorless ESC and motor, but then I saw a a review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ8mo-IY38g and it made me think that perhaps there's a better motor our there for me.

My question is simple, what cheap (I'm on a budget) sensorless motor could I buy that has a little more power than my current motor (http://etronix-rc.com/drive-etronix/...r-3300kv-motor) is compatible with my current ESC (http://etronix-rc.com/drive-etronix/...1-10-60amp-esc) and a much more liner throttle response?

Thanks in advance
