Schumacher Cat SX2 - report
I've been hearing a lot about people wanting to know what the Cat SX2 is like, so, start off with, it's a great well planted buggy, has some seriously good steering and suspension setups. I would/have taken a few upgrades to make it even better, such as the diff eccentrics. Belt driven is good, very quiet but belts need replacing when they start to fray badly, it takes a very long time for them to get that bad, also great adjustments/tuning avalible on the Cat, makes it easier to customise to certain tracks or surfaces. Wanted to point out that it uses regular stick lipos! Many of the other race competitive cars use the saddle packs, but I've found no problems with the stick packs as long as they are thinner than 24mm. The dirt-pan/undertray works a dream, keeps everything clean and neat! The Pro CF would be the choice if I were to say what to buy, simply because it's Carbon Fibre, stronger and lighter than Titanium. What lipos fit? I use some amazing 5000mah 45c 2s Zippy Lipos from Hobbking, such a bargain and have great power and run times, fit nice at 19mm. Ball diffs need rebuilding every 15-25 races, they only need a clean and a re grease. Shock towers and firm and very thick. Overall very good buggy!
