Default AMB Help - Newbie Setting up club decoder.

Our club laptop decided to give up and we have since got a new computer, was have downloaded and installed the BBK software and USB driver from the BBK website, We are running Vista and the decoder box talks to the computer fine and in the equipment setup, the cars are counted. However when we open up and run the BBK software, it says that there is no decoder found on serial port com 1, we have selected AMB20 and made sure we are using AMB on USB, but when creating races, it can't find the AMB ?

Any ideas ?? really stumped with this one. I know the USB decoder is communicating ok and the driver is installed. We are using the main database on BBK and have entered the correct transponder numbers under each racer.

Any help would be most welcome, The software is currently on trial as we are unable to locate our License number as it was on the old computer that is no longer accessable. I'll need to try and contact BBK to see if we can determine our license number, would having the software on trial effect the use on USB over serial ?
