Default Filling track hoses

Hi,

Our club currently use mainly sand filled hoses. These were stored somewhere damp so now the sand has moisture in it which makes them extremely heavy. We have recently filled a few new hoses with plastic injection moulding pellets which worked exceptionally well, however extremely expensive.

Does any know where we can purchase a large amount of pellets or re-grind cheap?

Or, any other ideas on what to fill the hoses with to keep the price and weight reasonable?

Thanks in advance,

Matt
