Question big bore or small bore that is the question

I have an FS2 i have raced it once on a small indoor track with jumps and smashed it to bits as i struggled to get the car set up the way i would like it to drive i presume this will take some time for me to work out all the settings. I would like to get a second set of shocks for outdoor tracks only, so are big bores worth the extra money.
