Default Spectrum DX3.0 Binding Problem

Hello all

I have been slowly upgrading my stuff and have baught a new car and some new electronics.

Spectrum DX3 Transmitter with SR3000 Reciever
Savox SC-1258 Servo

So the problem I have is with the Transmitter or with the reciever SR3000 that comes with the transmitter.

I have baught it on ebay so its not garenteed to work perfect but hey it was good price so why not.

The transmitter switches on and looks to be working ok.
The reciever is a bit of a issue.

The binding process is as follows:

1: Both off
2: hold bind on reciever and switch on power to reciever. (The light flashes green)
So up to this point it looks to be working.

3: hold bind on transmitter
4: switch on transmitter and the green light flashes on transmitter (So this looks to be working as well)

Now for the problem.

When I let go of the Transmitter bind button it goes full green Yay!!!
But the reciever goes dead. No light flashing

There is also no movement in the servo.

Is this the transmitter that I need to replace?

Believe me I have tried it more then 10 times.
I have even looked on youtube and there is a guy that shows you how to bind it correctly and followed it step by step. but still no full green glow from transmitter.

Any help
Vince

Edit: On a side note... Just noticed when I switch on the car the servo does not move at all with the SR3000 but does move with my old setup.
