Transmitter sets

I am getting back into RC and just dragged all the old radio gear out and fitted it to a MR4BC but found glitches in the system. So after a few new parts, ESC and motors its time for a new radio set.

Not a basic one but not a full on hand held super computer.

What would you all suggest?
