Default To buy or not to buy

Now I know this may be very difficult on a Losi thread but can I ask for responses to be as honest and impartiaol as possible please.

Im very tempted to run a XXXCR this season but I have a number of questions regarding the chassis before I plough straight in

1. Does anybody know whether the rumours are true that Horizon now see the 10th class as 2nd fiddle to the 8ths and therefore the support from the distributor, Support from team drivers trackside will be reduced significantly ( for example I heard a rumour that Tricky and Darren Bloomfield will not race the 10th nats to concentrate on 8th scale)

2 Ive raced Associated cars in various classes for years now, Would it be fair to say that the Losi is more difficuult to set up/maintain?. I noticed at the North West regionals last year that the Losi team drivers appeared to be running big variations of the chassis, one in particular was almost running the spec from the original XXX

3. Id consider myself a relitively good driver ( when I put my mind to it) but I dont like to spend the whole meeting wrenching trying to get the car to work, I dont mind but if the car has to be drastically altered track to track then I would probably stay away

Ive heard such differing views on the chassis that I thought I would put it to you people to convince me ( or discourage me) into buying this chassis.

Any help would be great as Im planning on getting my new car in the next few weeks ready for winter

Cheers

Chris
