Motors

I have recently finished building my 1st SC truck, from talking to the fellow Short Coursers at my local club the general opinion for what motor is best suited to a 2WD SC is either 10.5 or 13.5.

Now I am usually a buggy racer either 2WD or 4WD in the past, and they have alot hotter motors in them (5.5, 6.5 or 7.5) and was wondering is it mad to go that way with a 2WD SC, say 7.5 or 8.5 what does others reckon
