Check out this photo from the earlyish 80's
Can't remember everyones name, but from the left we have; Paul Gutteridge, Steve Haynes??, me (John Jones), Richard Johnson, PHIL BOOTH, Ian Littley and don't know.
The event was at Wollaton Park near Nottingham and think that was the A final line up. The Hotshot had just come out so guessing it was about '83?
It would have been 5 to 6 years since Phil had won the 1/8th circuit world championship so was quite amazing to be racing against him (and losing!)
