Mamba Max Pro Cutting Out

My son's Mamba Max Pro has started cutting out sometimes during racing another racer who uses the same system said that by fitting a stutter stopper to the receiver this would stop it cutting out phoned our local shop who seemed to know something about it but wasn't totally sure is it a simple case of soldering a capacitor to a servo lead or is there more to it?
