40Mhz Receiver

I still use my old Sanwa 40Mhz radio gear, it works really well so I don't see the point in changing it just yet. However, one of my Sanwa receivers is now not working after a hefty crash at the weekend. Sounds a silly question, but can I get any 40Mhz receiver to replace the Sanwa one, or does it have to be a Sanwa 40Mhz receiver?
