I normally run the Xray 808 Nitro but I picked up a Second hand 808 in need of a rebuild so thought I would convert it and give Electric 1/8th a bash. I run 1/10 Electric off road too. As for the Battery life, well, at Fairlop rc the finals are 20 mins and there is only 1 Electric buggy there who struggles to last the finals. However, I have read that for the 4 National meetings they are going to shorten the finals to cater for the battery life. So it is only fairlop rc that may be a problem but after reading your advise I now think I know what to do... Be a captain slow for a while lol. Just hope I can remember that when I have 5 or so crazy fast draiver up my rear end lol.
