Default Bringing Old RB5 up to Race Condition

Hi,

I have a 2wd Ultima RB5 bought 2nd hand (very good condition) 2-3 yrs ago, so I suppose this makes it an original RB5. I have only got round to racing it once which was about 2 yrs ago - it seemed to run well except a club member suggested the slipper was too loose - I'm afraid my previous off road experience is 25 yrs old so did not know about slippers etc.

Anyway, since then it has lived in a spare bedroom followed by a shed, through a couple of winters. I would like to do some off road this year, maybe even one of the regional series and was wondering what you suggest I do to ensure the car is in race condition. Should I just race it as is and see how it runs, making adjustments if necessary, or is a full/partial rebuild in order?

Seeing as I never built it originally, I'm not familiar with this process. I suppose I could try and get hold of some instructions and follow them.

Any views gratefully received!

Barry
