what turn motor for sc10 ft 2wd?

Hi new to short coarse, i have 5.5t 6.5t which i use in my buggys, my question is are these to hot for the sc10?
Will be racing outdoors on a large grass track, don't want to burnout electrics as it is for fun/track time between racing other classes. cheers.
