Hi, just for those people who are questioning the quality of the Durango 210.
We ran at this weekends York 24 Hour Ebor Race with a kit standard Durango 210 driven by a team of drivers who usually race in the North West Regional series. We ran the car with an 8.5 Speed passion motor and Nosram Pearl 2 Speedo supplied by our sponsor Ross Mods. The car was standard with no modifications whatsoever and ran in rear motor configuration. Not one track rod end popped off, the standard ball diff with kit balls held out for the full 24 hours and nothing broke on it. We came second out of seven teams, five of which were running 4WD cars, the team that beat us were Team Associated/CML running a B44.1. I would just like to say thanks to all our drivers, Matt, Chris, Mark, Jonny, Gibber, Jimmy and especially to Stu Evans who built the car. So the car ran for 24 hours straight, if you take a normal race meeting at 4 qualifiers and a final that's: 288 individual races That's about 57 race meetings!! ![]() Damo ![]()
