Mad Monkey Battery Tray Help Please

I need the size of the battery tray in an Ansmann Mad Monkey?
I have a HPI Blitz and the batteries I have are Turnigy 5000 but they are a little longer than standard [now I find out] but fit the Blitz just fine.
I am looking for a 2WD buggy but do not want to buy batteries as well.
I have tried them in a Mad Rat and they don't fit
So looking now at a Mad Monkey but no one at the club has one so can’t try. So can anyone help with the internal size of the battery tray on a Ansmann Mad Monkey?
