Imo go for a cheap normal motor to start, better to drive a slow motor fast than a fast motor slow, as the fast motor wont keep the heat in it if u cant push it like it needs to be.
Get yourself a bag of airfilters, i change mine every heat an change the clutch bell bearings often, i never keep more more than 2 meetings an never have a problem.

Thank you, I'd like to think I should be ok Driving a Nitro, I doing quite well at 1/10 electric but I guess it is a different beast. I keep getting told so many opinions from so many people it is hard to know what to do with regards to engines.
I'll let you know how I go when I've run it.
